At BAR JR GELBVIEH we pride ourselves on our rich family heritage in ranching. Our commitment to sustainable Low Stress practices ensures the health of our livestock and the land we cherish. We evaluate our cattle multiple times throughout the year. If our bull prospects or replacement heifers don't measure up, they are placed into the feeder cattle route. We do have a pasture to plate beef division at Bar JR Gelbvieh; were we sell processed beef. We eat what we grow. Our goal is to improve the breed/herd with every mating, utilizing in depth research into AI sires, matching up EPD strengths and weaknesses with our females. All cattle are developed on grass and hay -- no supplements a healthy nutrition feeding program.
